From their first meeting in Shanghai in December 2005, the desire to put their respective passions to the service of music was born : Song for Soprano QIU ShuWei, Compositions and Arrangements for Jean-Philippe VANBESELAERE.
"Passions Croisées" presents the result of a close artistic collaboration, the rediscovery of the repertoire of the great arias of French Operas and Operettes (Bizet, Massenet, Offenbach ...), traditional and popular Chinese Music, but also creations specially dedicated to QIU ShuWei, Professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, whose talent is recognized throughout the world.
Mixing tradition and modernity, the original scores are performed by the soloists of the "Festival Chamber Orchestra" under the conducting of the composer.
