Musical creation commissioned as part of "Bethune 2011 - Regional Capital of Culture" : it’s a program music that is part of the tradition initiated by Hector Berlioz. In this music, Jean-Philippe Vanbeselaere translated his admiration for the beauty of the seven countries of this area, the strength and generosity of its people and the pain of its history crossed by the wars. The composer's idea is also of generating a music from classical aesthetics, mixed to new forms of musical expression related to contemporary music.
